WA Museum’s Wildlife Gallery- Marsupials – in French and in Spanish with Le toboggan

We are ending this year language tours at the WA Museum with a fun visit. We learn about marsupials in an interactive and educational manner.

Did you know that not all the marsupials had pouches?

Join us t learn more fun facts about these iconic Australian animals.

French visit on Sunday 3 November at 10 am and Spanish on Sunday 5 December at 10 am.

$10/per person. Cost of the tour in French of Spanish only, adults will need to either purchase a membership (from $15) or a ticket at the entrance of the mUseum ($15).

Le toboggan’s summer holiday programs

We are pleased to organise several programs in French and in Spanish to increase your child’s language exposure in a fun and educational way.

In all workshops, places are limited to 8 children.

Book club – 3 hour, $65/child includes the book. Children 6+.

Our partnership with the WA Museum is extended to 2023

Le toboggan at the WA Museum

We are proud to announce that our French and Spanish tours for children will continue in 2023. As part of the WA Museum’ s community partnership project, Le toboggan was invited to run the tours next year as they promote multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion.

Next year’s calendar is:

12 February – Dinosaurs French and Spanish tours

12 March – Wildlife gallery – the marsupials in French

2 April – Wildlife gallery – the marsupials in Spanish

7 May – Origins gallery – learning about minerals in French

11 June – Origins gallery- learning about minerals in Spanish

3 September – NKBW (First Australians) gallery – Dreamtime stories – in French

15 October – NKBW (First Australians) gallery – Dreamtime stories – in Spanish

5 November – Wildlife gallery – TBA – in French

3 December – Wildlife gallery – TBA – in Spanish

I look forward to teaching young adventurers fun facts about the universe and life on our planet in their heritage language.

Another exciting event brought to you by Le toboggan.
We will explore the Aboriginal gallery of the museum.
We will have a glimpse at the cultures, languages, arts and crafts of the WA Indigenous peoples.
The tour includes a craft activity: dot painting on a card.
Parents are free of charge
individual tickets $20/child
group tickets $15/child with minimum 4 children

In Spanish, from 8yo.

Pierre Aronnax, a marine biologist, goes on an expedition to find and destroy an enormous sea monster. After a misadventure, Pierre and his friends find themselves stuck aboard Captain Nemo’s submarine, the Nautilus. Together, they will explore the wonders on the deep oceans.

WA Museum tours for children in French – 2022

Join us for a fantastic tour at the Museum.

Each visit will take us to a different area where will be learning through different interactive activities.

We will play and learn in a fun tour in French.

2022 Spanish & French story times at the City of Perth Library

We are very pleased to announce that our partnership with the City of Perth Library is carrying on this year.

We will be running each month:

on the first Wednesday – Spanish story times

on the third Wednesday – French story times

Start at 11am, everyone is welcome.

Free event.
