Karim lives in a war torn country. He dreams to see zebras. His cousins take him to the zoo for the first time. He is disappointed, half of the animals died during the war and there are no zebras. His cousin tells him, maybe the zebras have been taken away so they can be washed. They will have to come back the day after. His cousin feels sorry for Karim. She has a brilliant idea. She speaks with the zoo director and with the help of the neighbours, get two white donkeys to the zoo on which they pain black stripes. The next day, Karim goes back to the zoo with his cousins and he is so happy. He finally gets to see zebras and even rides on their back.
