He decides to prepare them by telling them that soon he will leave into the big tunnel and will not come back. One night, he writes a letter and falls asleep on his armchair. He soon dreams that he is walking down the big tunnel but he is not old and in pain anymore.

His friends go and find him the following morning but he is gone. He left a letter asking his friends to not be sad. Winter goes by and his friends are still missing him terribly. Spring comes and they decide to get together and remember what Badger had taught them and feel less sad.

This lovely story is perfect to explain the little ones that sometime in the future they will lose their beloved grandparents and by remembering them they will still love them.

They go to find him when all of a sudden a rock detaches from the top of the mountain and is about to crash on them. Fortunately, their vegetarian friend is strong and manages to stock the rock falling, saving his friends’ lives. His friends are really impressed. You can eat veggies and fruit and still be very strong. Maybe they should try too.
