‘Le loup qui revait d’ocean’

In French, from 3yo.

Wolf wants to go on an adventure on the ocean. His friends’d rather play on the beach so he decides to sail on his own with a treasure map he found in washed away bottle. His adventure does not start well, he is attacked by pirates who stole his treasure map. Then his boat sinks. A friendly dolphin takes him to see the king of the ocean, Poseidon. He is happy to see Wolf and shows him the ocean, the beautiful corals, the colourful fish but also all the pollution due to man dumping trash in the sea. The seas are slowly dying with the plastic, tyres and other litter. Poseidon tasks Wolf with a mission, to tell his friends about the ocean and to be respectful of it and no dump trash. Wolf agrees and returns to his friends and tells them about the treasure he found and how together they must save the ocean.

Through interactive lessons and hands-on activities, young artists will explore Klee’s life, his unique artistic style, and some of his most famous masterpieces.

In this engaging workshop, children will:

Learn about Paul Klee’s fascinating life and his playful, creative approach to art.
Discover the techniques Klee used, including bold colours, geometric shapes, and whimsical characters.
Create their own art inspired by Klee’s work, experimenting with drawing, painting, and collage.
Develop their own artistic voice while gaining confidence in using different materials.

This workshop encourages creativity, self-expression, and the exploration of abstract art, allowing each child to make their own masterpieces inspired by Klee’s magical world. Whether they’re drawing colourful faces, designing imaginative creatures, or making collages with a variety of textures and shapes, they’ll leave with new artistic skills and a deeper appreciation for one of the 20th century’s most influential artists.

The workshop will be run in Spanish or French and/or bilingual depending of the children’s proficiency.

Date: 22 January, workshop in Spanish at 9am and in French at 1pm.

Italian – Sat 15 at 2.30pm at Le toboggan’s

French – Wed 19 at 11am at the COPL and Sat 29 at 2.30pm at Le toboggan’s

Le toboggan’s address is 3/168 Hampden road, Nedlands. We are on the first floor and will help you to bring up your prams.

These are free family events and everyone is welcome, non-speakers too.

‘Dragon girls – Amina le dragon d’or’
