We are Perth’s only specialist bookshop dedicated to language books for children. Our physical store stocks bilingual picture books, immersive storybooks, and educational resources in over 20 languages. You are welcome to visit us in store or shop online at any anytime.
Do you ship children’s language books across Australia?
Yes! We ship Australia wide, including to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin, Hobart, and all regional areas. Most orders arrive withing 3-7 business days depending on your location.
Do you ship children’s language books overseas?
Yes, we also offer international orders. Contact us to receive a quote for the shipping fees. We send all our shipments with Australia Post.

We stock children’s books in a wide range of languages including French, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, German and more.
Could you source children’s books in other languages?
Yes, we have sourced many languages we do not normally offer, such as Croatian, Khmer, Amharic, Bengali, Punjabi, Urdu. If you are looking for a specific language, contact us and we will do our best to source it for you.
What age groups are your books suitable for?
We have books for all ages, from board books for babies and toddlers (0-3), picture books for early readers (4-7), chapter books for growing readers (8-12), and language learning resources for teenagers. Every book on our shelves is chosen with developmental appropriateness in mind.

Yes, bilingual books are one of our specialties. We carry a wide selection of books that feature two languages side by side – ideal for families raising bilingual children or kids learning a second language at school.

Yes, this is something we love helping with! Whether your child is learning French, Japanese, Mandarin or Italian at school, we can recommend books that complement their learning in a fun, engaging way. Get in touch and tell us your child’s age, language and level.
Do you work with libraries, schools or early learning centres?
We do! We work with schools, libraries, and early learning centres across Australia to supply language books. We also offer our language activities, such as story times or language incursions to Perth metro schools, childcares and playgroups.
Can I order a book that is not on your website?
In many cases, yes. We have access to a wide network of publishers and distributors. Contact us with the title, language or ISBN you are after and we will let you know if we can source it.
Do you offer language activities for children?
Yes, we run French and Spanish workshops for children throughout the school year and during the school holidays, as well as monthly story times in French and Spanish. What are your story time sessions and how can my child join?
We host monthly story sessions in French and Spanish at our shop as well as at the City of Perth Library. They are a wonderful opportunity for children to hear a language spoken aloud, enjoyed a shared story, and connect with other families on the same language journey. Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, we do. Gift vouchers are a great option when you are not sure about what books to buy or if you are out of time.
There is no minimum amount required and they are valid for 3 years from the purchase date.
What is the difference between a gift voucher and a gift list?
A gift voucher issued by us is a prepaid document with a monetary value that can be used to purchase language resources in our store or on our website.
A gift can either be a list of books you have preselected and email the link to your guests to buy a book from or it could be a way to receive contributions from your guests without a minimum amount required. These contributions will go towards the purchase of language books either in our store or on our website. The ‘contributions towards a book list’ is often a preferred option as it is more inclusive and does not set a minimum amount. Contact us for more information.
