When Marie Curie was young and wanted to study, she was not allowed to because she was a woman. Later, her scientific discoveries were respected all over the world. Marie became the first female doctor of science and the first female teacher at the University of Paris. She also became the first person in history to win a Nobel Prize twice. Marie is considered the most inspiring woman in modern science.
