This collection of illustrated and imaginative readers is designed to instill a love of reading in toddlers, build reading skills for the new reader, and entertain those already reading alone with tender and funny stories. The first level, El paso, provides toddlers the opportunity to begin recognizing letters. The second level, Al trote, is for the reader who can begin to follow a narrative thread, and Al galope, the third level, is for those children who feel confident reading alone and like reading for pleasure.
