Description
The Canterville Ghost, written by Oscar Wilde (1854? 1900), was the first of his short stories to be published. It tells the story of an American family who, after buying the Canterville Chase mansion, are forced to live with the ghost that lives there. It is one of the most recognized stories by this Irish author and is an excellent example of his lighter and more humorous literary side.
