Description

A mean, hungry wolf who speaks in a very strange way waits in the forest for a tasty morsel to appear. Unfortunately, he stumbles upon a couple of clever little rabbits who remove a hair from his tongue and, more importantly, his desire to eat meat!

The first rabbit discovers that the wolf speaks strangely because he has a hair on his tongue. He promises to remove it and, with this trick, escapes. Another rabbit deceives him by “teaching” him how to hunt properly. The wolf finally makes a mistake, attacks a bear, and in his escape, falls and loses his teeth. And he becomes a vegetarian!

It may seem like the typical story of the bad wolf who is taught a lesson by innocent little animals. However, it is a very daring picture book from both a narrative and graphic point of view. With a very attractive color palette and typography that plays with sizes, it evokes comics and cartoons. A book that dares to make the wolf speak with slurred speech throughout the entire story, starting with the title itself, and is very useful for theatrical play in schools.

Children will have a lot of fun with the wolf’s poor diction, and the phrase “I’m going to eat you” will surely become the talk of the town.
