Dorothy lived in Kansas with her uncles. The day the hurricane hit, the girl went to look for Toto, her little dog, and she didn’t have time to enter the basement where her uncles had taken refuge. Dorothy sought shelter at home with Toto, but the wind was so strong that, suddenly, the house lifted off the ground and rose.
