Language workshops: Spanish in the Park

Spanish in the park! EspaƱol en el parque!

This term as the weather is getting warmer, we are running our workshops in parks throughout Perth. Parents and children love it. We alternate study, play, activity & learning and play.

Last Saturday’s theme was the sea. We went to Point Heathcote Reserve with the Pirate ship playground. We study some sea related words and made a jelly fish out of recycled yoghurt pots. We played fishing colourful fish and other sea animals to reinforce what we had learned earlier.

Let us know if you would like to join us so we can communicate the next location and timing.

Hasta pronto!

  1. Dixie and I attend Filipa’s EspaƱol en el parque every weekend and we both love it. It is practically a play date for Dixie with the added bonus of increasing her Spanish vocabulary. I am also learning by taking my daughter along and Filipa encourages parents to be involved in the lesson. It’s great because it means i can reinforce what we learn, during the week.

Filipa is a wonderfully kind and patient teacher and Dixie adores her. I can’t imagine a better way for a three year old to learn a new language.

    1. Thank you Kristie and Dixie for your support from Day 1. It is a pleasure to teach Dixie and I am very happy to notice how she progresses every week.
